Dr. Thomas Axelson has been a practicing chiropractor since 1997 when he graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. He has been serving Eastern North Carolina since 1998 when he started Axelson Chiropractic... with the dream of changing lives of people, one patient at a time.
A certified ART® provider since 2000, his philosophy is simple: to use the power of the spirit and the knowledge of his training to help treat each and every person with loving and compassionate care. Dr. Axelson resides in New Bern, NC with his wife Angella and their two daughters. He enjoys outdoor activities, playing and watching sports, exercising, reading, and staying current in his training with the studying of ART® and soft tissue treatment, biomechanics, exercises for core, extremities, and athletes. |
Dr. Kenneth Vieregge, II, graduated from National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, IL in 1990 where he earned both his Bachelors of Human Biology and Doctor of Chiropractic degrees. He relocated to North Carolina in 1991 and established a practice for himself in Fayetteville and Pinehurst before joining Axelson Chiropractic in 2011.
Dr. Vieregge is proficient in numerous chiropractic techniques, and nutritional therapies. He is also a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician, certified in ART® and soft tissue treatment. He resides in New Bern with his three daughters; and enjoys woodworking as well as a number of other outdoor activities. |
Dr. James Zielenski is a licensed Chiropractic Physician who graduated from Palmer Chiropractic College Florida. He served on the Elective Committee of the Sports Council club for 3 years, and is a certified ART® provider. Dr. Zielenski worked with athletes of all calibers at events such as USLA National Lifeguard Championships, USTA events, USFTL Nationals, and RAGNAR relay. He practiced in Colorado before moving to New Bern in 2016.
Dr. Zielenski graduated from The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology. He volunteered coaching youth hockey and worked with the Special Olympics surfing program. Besides surfing, he enjoys, snowboarding, hiking with his dog Fin, and working out. |
Dr. Kelsey Seese graduated Summa Cum Laude from New York Chiropractic College, now known as Northeast College of Health Sciences. While at NYCC, she was inducted into the Phi Chi Omega Honor Society, was a Peer Mentor, participated in intramural sports, was a member of multiple clubs, and was a teaching assistant for several courses. She is a certified provider of ART, RockTape Fascial Movement Taping, and ConnecTX Therapy, which is an instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization technique, and has additional training in various other treatment techniques.
Prior to graduate school, Dr. Seese attended Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. She was born and raised just outside of Pittsburgh, PA, but now calls New Bern, NC her home. She and her husband, Mike, have a daughter, Joella, a son, Arlen, and two Labradors, Tribble and Solomon. Dr. Seese enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, playing sports, crafting, and continually advancing her evidenced-based clinical knowledge and chiropractic techniques. Dr. Seese has an immense passion for helping others and is focused on providing the highest quality, individualized care to her patients. |
